An “Agent” is a person (or organisation) that acts on behalf of another, known as the “Principal”. In the context of local government, local authorities will appoint an agent to act on their behalf to deliver specific services to the public. The agent will then act as the intermediary between the local authority and you, the customer, when delivering those specific services.
Everyone Golf and Your Local Council
We work closely with councils and local authorities to provide fitness and activity services to the community. When you book a membership or class through Everyone Golf acting as agent, you’re actually entering into an agreement with your local council. Therefore, your membership or class terms and conditions are with your local council. The agent (Everyone Golf) acts as the facilitator between you and the Council. We manage the day-to-day operations of the facilities and services for the Council so that they can provide you with the best possible service.
Everyone Golf acts as an agent of:
St Albans City & District Council at Abbey View Sports Complex, Batchwood Golf Course & Sports Centre, Cotlandswick Leisure Centre, Cottonmill Community and Cycle Centre, Harpenden Leisure Centre and Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre.
North Hertfordshire District Council at Fearnhill Sports Centre, Hitchin Swimming and Fitness Centre, Letchworth Lido, North Herts Leisure Centre and Royston Leisure Centre.
For all other locations, Everyone Active acts as principal under an operating contract with the local council or authority.
