- Please avoid slow play
- No sharing clubs – Each player must have their own set of clubs and golf bag
- Greenkeepers – Please give priority to all green staff
- Please observe the etiquette of the game at all times
Local Rules
Out of Bounds – A ball coming to rest beyond any boundary hedge, fence or white stake.
9th Hole – A ball coming to rest on or over the road beyond the 9th green.
18th hole – Any ball coming to rest beyond the path that runs along the right side of the hole is deemed out of bounds. A ball on the path may take nearest point of relief.

Temporary posts and ropes
Temporary posts and ropes across the course are there to stop people damaging the course in excessively wet areas, they are not indicating GUR.
Where temporary posts and ropes, i.e. protecting the approaches to the greens, physically interfere with your area of intended stance or intended swing you may take relief, no nearer pin, without penalty.
Posts and ropes should be treated the same as for the local rule on staked trees. They should be treated as ‘Immovable Obstruction’ and relief taken under Rule 16.1a.
If your ball hits a post or rope you ‘play as it as it lies’ with no relief.
Ground under repair – If a player’s ball lies in an area marked G.U.R, or if the area interferes with the player’s stance or intended swing, the player may take relief under Rule 25-1.
New Trees – Staked or taped trees are immovable obstructions, relief taken under rule 24-2.
Overhead Cables – If a ball strikes an overhead cable, the player must disregard that stroke and play another ball as nearby as possible to the spot from which the original ball was played in accordance with Rule 20-5.
Pathways, Tractor Marks, Drainage Runs – Treated as Ground Under Repair 25-1.
Stones in Bunkers – May be removed without penalty under Rule 24-1.
Lateral Water Hazards – Red stakes mark all lateral water hazards Rule 26.
5th Hole – The 5th Hole will now be a Call up hole, after marking your golf balls on the green please wave the following group up.
Fixed Sprinkler Heads – All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions therefore Rule F-5 applies. In addition, if such an obstruction is on the line of play & is:
- 2 club lengths off the putting green within two club lengths of the ball
The player may obtain Free Relief as follows:
- Not nearer the hole
- Avoids the intervention
- Is not in a hazard or on the putting green
