Alternatively, lay up off the tee to leave a short iron to the green. A good tee shot can lead to a great birdie opportunity, beware of OOB down the right all the way down the hole.

HOLE FOUR

Long par 4 doglegging from left to right - tee shot down the left leaves a longer second shot, whilst a tee shot down the right (that hugs the trees) can leave a shorter approached, however beware the trees on the right as this can leave little to no shot. Be sure to avionics the bunker short right and OOB left on your approach.

HOLE FIVE

Tricky par 4 that requires precision over length; ensure your tee shot and approach shot avoids the OOB left. The green is guarded by a well placed bunker right and OOB left; long not a bad place to miss to avoid hole defences. Green runs strongly from right to left so worthwhile keeping this in mind for your approach shot.

A well placed bunker can make your second shot tricky; lay up short of it or make sure you've got enough club to carry it. Bunkers left and right of the green demands an accurate approach shot.

HOLE NINE

Short par 4 that calls for strategy over distance. A tree lined fairway and challenging second shot places large emphasis on hitting the fairway off the tee. It's imperative that you over club to evade the hazard and bunker short of the green, whilst being precise with direction due to overhanging trees. A green which slopes back to front typically sees ball land and stopping quickly so make sure you get the ball pin high.

HOLE TEN

A deceptive par 4 that naturally aims you further right off the tee than you need to go. Trees and hazards down the right have lured many a golfer, so be sure not to join them. You're advised to aim left of the bunker if you can't carry it off the tee - straight over if you can. Beware of bunker short left and the topography of the ground that feeds the ball right on your approach shots.

PRO TIP
Don't aim too far right off the tee; the dogleg is shallower than it appears.

HOLE ELEVEN

A tough par 3 which demands a well struck tee shot to get onto the green in regulation. It typically plays into the wind and is subsequently longer than the scorecard suggests. A very well-bunkered green - bunkers in the front right and left portion of the green can leave difficult bunker shots. Going long off the tee does not represent a bad miss. There's also a deceptively slopey green.

HOLE TWELVE

This is a short, scoreable par 4 that relies on a tee shot short or long of the hazard off the tee. There's a tree lined fairway that makes the tee shot tight. Applying the appropriate strategy relative to your distance off the tee is critical. Once in position, this leaves a straight approach shot with no bunkers but be sure to avoid the run off areas left and right. The green's slope works towards the centre of the green.

PRO TIP
It's important to navigate the hazard off the tee to leave a birdie chance.

HOLE THIRTEEN

Testing par 4 which is centred on a good tee shot. Clear the hazard and avoid the trees to the right to lay the foundation for a good score on the hole. The tee shot "appears" to dogleg significantly, that is misleading, so play as a straight hole as left miss is much better than right, because of trees and primary rough. A bunker short right of the green needs to avoided to leave a much easier next shot. The slope on the left edge of the green can be used to feed the ball in.

PAR YARDS STROKE
4 438 1
4 407 1
4 370 1
PRO TIP
Hit it straight off the tee; the hole doesn't dogleg.

HOLE FOURTEEN

Good scoring potential on this par 5 - more space right off the tee, left on your lay up and right on your approach shot; trees left of the green can come into play courtesy of to the topography of the slope. Well placed fairway bunkers provide a good defence, while two well placed fairway and green side bunkers are to be avoided. The green generally slopes from right to left.

HOLE FIFTEEN

Short par 4 that can yield positive outcomes with the right tee shot. Relatively short in length and marginally downhill, the hole does play shorter than its yardage. The key objective is to bypass the trees on the right of the fairway to unlock the hole. Once in position, a short approach can present a realistic birdie opportunity. A subtle slope in the first half of the green falls to the right.

PAR YARDS STROKE

PRO TIP

HOLE SIXTEEN

Tight par 4 where tee shot placement is of premium importance as out of bounds runs the full length of the hole. You would be better to sacrifice distance to enhance your accuracy. An approach shot further from the green results in a bigger landing area from the tee - the fairway. You'll find a narrow approach shot with a well-bunkered green to the right, big miss area to the left of the green can leave an easier chip to a relatively flat green.

PRO TIP
This hole requires accuracy over distance off the tee.

HOLE SEVENTEEN

Tricky par 3 where a short to mid iron can leave a realistic birdie chance. Bunkers short right and green high left need to be considered, with a bail out area high and right of the green. Taking enough club can ensure bypassing green side bunkers. The deceptively slopey green is subject to pin placement.

PAR YARDS STROKE

3 130 17

This is the easiest par 3 on the golf course - go straight at it.

HOLE EIGHTEEN

Tight par 5 finishing hole that demands accuracy at all stages of the hole. Clear a ditch off the tee and thread the ball between trees left and out of bounds right. From there, navigate another ditch, either by layup or hitting across, while evading trees left and out of bounds mirroring tee shot. A well-bunkered green, with two left and one right requires accuracy on your approach.

PAR YARDS STROKE
5 481 9
5 447 9
5 393 3
PRO TIP
Accuracy is the name of the game on this final hole.
